Aviation Maintenance Technician
An Aeronautical Maintenance Technician performs and verifies the preventive and corrective maintenance of aircraft, identifying faults or anomalies, and repairing, replacing and fine-tuning the equipment and components of the electrical, mechanical and structural systems.
Sevenair Academy is a Maintenance Training Organisation Part 147 certified under ANAC in accordance with EASA Regulation 2042/2003 with certify PT.147.005. We offer a high level training system with classroom and online distance learning. We have established several partnerships with major companies to extend internships and job opportunities to our students.
AMT Basic Training
In order to clarify the process of certification, there are several categories of license which cover different levels and skills.
A Category A aircraft maintenance license permits the holder to issue certificates of release to service following minor scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification within the limits of tasks specifically endorsed on the certification authorization referred to in point 145.A.35 of Annex II (Part-145). The certification privileges shall be restricted to work that the license holder has personally performed in the maintenance organisation that issued the certification authorization.
A Category B1 aircraft maintenance license shall permit the holder to issue certificates of release to service and to act as B1 support staff following:
- Maintenance performed on aircraft structure, powerplant and mechanical and electrical systems.
- Work on avionic systems requiring only simple tests to prove their serviceability and not requiring troubleshooting.
