Other Aviation Courses

We offer Initial and recurrent training for individuals and companies.With a full range courses: Fuel Tank Safety + EWIS, Human Factors, Air Law, Part M, Part 145 and Part 147.

Human Factors

The Human Factors Course aims to provide its trainees with knowledge and skills to enable them to adopt the recommended behaviors and practices for safer team work, through the identification of the relevant Human Factors (HF) in the operational environment, what complexity means and what the implications are for the organisation as well the individual tasks and responsibilities.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) created an international standard for language proficiency requirements including a rating scale to measure the level of english proficiency. Of this scale, ICAO level of 4 or higher was officially recognized as being english proficient in aviation.

During this course it will be explained why HF are important to aviation maintenance and the industry as a whole, by identifying different types of error as well as discussing identified strategies to prevent them to cause failures and finally what is the role of HF and it’s relation to overall safety and well-being.

Part 145

The Part 145 Course is aimed to Accountable Managers, Management Personnel, Certifying Staff, Technicians and Quality Personnel in EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organizations and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO) and focuses on Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 Annex II (Part-145) and the relevant Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material, and how Part-145 interphases with Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-66, Part-21 and AIR-OPS.

Through the use of practical examples, trainees will not only understand the regulation in theory but also be explained how it can be practically and successfully implemented into their organization, in order to reduce the costs and risks but also to maximize effectiveness and safety.

Part M

The Part-M Course is aimed to Accountable Managers, Continuing airworthiness management personnel, Airworthiness Review Staff and Quality personnel in EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organizations and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO) and focuses on Commission Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014, and how Part-M interphases with Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-66, Part-21 and AIR-OPS.

EWIS

The EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) Course is aimed to EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organisations personnel who performs aeroplanes maintenance or inspections on EWIS and/or systems or structures in close proximity to EWIS, EASA Part-M Subpart G Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations and Quality Assurance personnel.

The objective of this course is to enable the trainees to properly evaluate the EWIS and effectively use the manufacturers AMM Chapter 20 and Electrical Standard Wiring Practice Manual (EWSPM), by providing them with the necessary knowledge to understand and interpret the EWIS issues from regulatory requirements and manufacturer’s maintenance documentation.

The training course provides guidance for personnel of the target groups 1 – 6 of the AMC 20-21 and 20-22, which are directly involved in the maintenance and inspection of EWIS as well as for personnel performing general maintenance activities in close proximity of EWIS.

FTS

The Fuel Tank Safety Course (FTS) Course is aimed to EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organisations personnel, namely personnel carrying out maintenance tasks on aircraft or components classified as Fuel Tank Safety items, support staff and certifying staff, staff involved in developing procedures, Management, Quality Personnel and Auditors, personnel in charge of stores and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO) personnel, as required by M.A.706 and M.A 707, such as Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness, Continuing Airworthiness Staff of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation, Airworthiness Review Staff, Quality Personnel and Auditors.

The FTS course is designed to satisfy the Phases 1 and 2 training requirements of ED Decisions 2009/ 006R and 2009/ 007R and will enable trainees to be aware of the history, the theoretical and practical elements of the subject, such as but not limited to accidents investigation and their conclusions involving fuel tank safety, in order to be familiar with the basic elements of the fuel tank safety issues.

SMS

The SMS course aims to provide trainees with an awareness of what a Safety Management System is, what is the best way to implement this system, what are the roles and responsibilities that all employees have in order to foster a successful safety culture within of an organisation.

Aviation Legislation

The Aviation Legislation Course is aimed to all personnel in EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organizations and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMO) and gives an overview of ICAO and the applicable documents, EASA organisation and the European regulatory framework, including EASA Decisions and AMC/GM, the amendment system of the regulations – NPA/CRD and National Regulations.

The objective of this course is to provide the trainees with a global awareness about the regulatory bodies in the aviation world, e.g. ICAO, EASA and National Aviation Authorities and the applicable aviation regulatory systems, regarding design, certification, production, operation, continuing airworthiness and maintenance.
