Modular Courses are designed for students not wishing to take on a full-time course, but instead want to complete their training through modules over a period of time.
PPL – Private Pilot License
Certification
The aim of this course is to instruct student-pilots to fly aircraft safely and proficiently under Visual Flight Rules. An applicant for a PPL shall be at least 17 years of age. The privileges of the holder of a PPL (A) are to act without remuneration as PIC or co-pilot on aeroplanes or TMGs engaged in non-commercial operations. The pilot will be holder of an PPL(A) Flight Crew License endorsed with SEP(land).

The aim of this course is to qualify PPL Holders to reach the level of proficiency to operate single engine class rating aeroplanes in VFR conditions at night. (FCL.810). The pilot will be holder of an PPL(A) Flight Crew License endorsed with NF(land).

IR – Instrument Rating
Certification
The aim of the IR (A) modular flying training course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to operate aeroplanes under IFR and in IMC. The course consists of two modules, which may be taken separately or combined: (a) Basic Instrument Flight Module and (b) Procedural Instrument Flight Module.
An applicant for a modular IR (A) course shall be the holder of a PPL (A) or a CPL (A), including the privileges to fly at night. An applicant for the Procedural Instrument Flight Module, who does not hold a CPL(A), shall be holder of a Course Completion Certificate for the Basic Instrument Flight Module. The pilot will be holder of an PPL(A) or CPL(A) Flight Crew License endorsed with IR(SE) on it.

And at the month of issue the license he/she should have at least: 200:00 total time, 300NM Cross-Country Navigation and Night Rating.
